Anti wrinkle programs are all the rage lately. There are spas, expensive serums and books about the topic.
The treatments available at spas may be effective, but they are expensive and frequently come with a whole slew of side effects. A little irritation or redness are almost expected. But, some of the procedures in truth bring forth bleeding. Women that have them cannot leave their houses for days.
Reading a book about the subject couldn’t hurt. Nicholas Perricone has one of the most complete programs. It includes dietary suggestions and other helpful hints. His line of skin firming products is far from complete.
One would think that a dermatologist would demand that a recipe bearing his name was free of allergens. Common reasons for visiting the dermatologist’s office are hypersensitised or adverse reactions caused by the ingredients in cosmetics.
Maybe Dr Perricone is unaware that artificial preservatives like parabens and added fragrances are the most common causes of unwanted side effects. But, he’s probably just going along with the policies created by the major akin care companies.
They insist that artificial preservatives are necessary to limit the risk of infection caused by bacteria growing in the tubes and bottles. Other companies take issue. They say that natural vitamin E is an effective preservative and is also good for the skin’s health.
Research conducted by Consumer Reports suggest that expensive anti wrinkle serums are not more effective than inexpensive ones. All of the products they tested were beneficial for some(not all) of the volunteers, even the simple moisturizer that they used for comparison.
The most striking results were seen when products contained specific compounds. Coenzyme Q10, peptide complexes, bioactive keratin, natural skin lighteners, kelp extracts, grape seed oil, avocado extract and Shea butter the most beneficial compounds, according to a number of clinical studies.
So, here’s a few tips for you. Look for a good all-natural skin care product and use it every day. If you don’t know what the ingredients are, do your due diligence and find out before you buy. purchasing anti wrinkle skin care products without doing the research can put your skin’s health at risk.
